Blogging gets on my nerves......
I cannot be regular & punctual.
Moreover, blogging is a boring medium. The absence of strikes, curves and the physical presence of thoughts on paper make this miserable.
I blog only to keep a record of my thoughts, moods in order to keep track of my evolution and progress.
Im sure it would be undiluted fun to read this after few years ....it will be an amalgamtion of some sort of an outburst..... a creative introspection.

Anyways... when blogger.com offers few MB for me ... why waste it ;)

I cannot be regular or punctual

You don't have to be - there is no one to monitor you. You have the freedom to post a million on one day and nothing for the next year. Ofcourse you may have ppl commenting on tht. But tht shouldn't bother u.

    Blogging is a boring medium

That is blasphemy and will not be TOLERATED ;)

writing to keep record of ur creative process is natural. if all u want is to keep record u don't have to put it up on the web. u cud jus save them as doc files in ur personal comp. and if u r so fascinated with strikes and curves, keep a diary.

Blogging is a medium for allowing others to peep in to ur creative process. And to help you evolve by commenting on ur work.

Personally, I find blogging a very interactive experience. I spend more time reading and commenting on others blog than on my own. Still, i strive to put up my own thoughts when they need to be told, as best as i can. And others critic on it. (ofcourse very few people visit my blog but even the best of bloggers started small. lazygeek for instance had almost no visitors for nearly a year)

p.s. very sorry if i sound rude. not my intention.

that was a cynical post script hehe!
    Chillax!
There was a time when i could maintain a diary and carry it wherever I go to record my progress. But once setting my foot forward in the corporate world, my diary enties are nothimg but a collage of things-to-do at work or short heartless scribblings....
And yes, as a college- goer i did have loadsa .doc files in my computer...
I still love diary writing ... that gives me the honest pleasure of indulging litrary pursuit. i blog because i find it more organised than .doc files... and unfortunatley, I am yet to manage my time to peek-a-boo other's works...

I buy yuor argument. Still, find some time to read others blogs - just to give you an idea of the range of talent around. On the top of my head, I would suggest lazygeek.net, jikku.blogspot.com, pavithra.rediffblogs.com (not regular now), munimma.blogspot.com, thenitknumbskulls.blogspot,ketaki666.blogspot, shashspace.blogspot (and ofcourse sudhishkamath). I am sure you can zero-in on blogs that interest you. For the busy ppl, there is blogreader in google (though i haven't understood its intricacies-something to do with RSS feed, Atom XML and some geeky stuff).

Blogging can also help u make frenz with like-minded people. In Chennai, there are blogmeets you can attend. (there is going to be one soon - organised by visithra who is visiting from Malaysia).

Having said all tht, I understand tht one can choose to be a casual blogger and not spend all their time thinking of wat to blog abt (hope my supervisor doesn't read this). watever it is tht u choose to do - have fun blogging.
