Momentary lapse of reason....

I boycotted my exams. The power of saying NO .... It makes feel you high... not a saddistic high ...a feeling of accomplishment, a feeling of pride...

Okie

I accept

I didnt prepare well... and the fear of flunking!

Time to say goodbye....

Friday the 19/05/2006, would remain as one of those emotional days of life...

It was the last day of my project at the TCS- JNR premises.Though we all came in colourful outfits and smiled away to group photos it was very painful when i saw the house keepers removing the huge glass portraits that explained about the project, packing the gadgets, induction guidees and other process manuals being fed to the scrapper!

The project is being outsourced to another conmpany. It was like seeing a house cards toppling .... a project that has been nurtured by so many of us from its inception.
My first ever job..my first ever escalation..my first ever appreciation.. my first ever appraisal..my first ever promotion..

The friends we made, the fun we shared , the deadlines we met!
It was very painful to remove all the pinups of my place...
My cubicle was a cosy one! Right in the corner ...just a peek from my place , I could view the entire floor.... the ceramic board where i scribbled had to be wiped clean... the draws and cabinets had to be emptied... the collage of photographs of the UK trip had to be removed.

I would miss the sweet smell of shan's cofee, the knic-knacs that he brings when he knows that im stretching my body-clock, the wonderful security personnel who were always friendly ... the house keepers who make the workplace a fantabolus place....
And ofcourse the plush badmiton court.....the lawn thats so well maintained.

I will miss TCS JNR!

Scrabbles found in my diary.......

Among many other things, Im getting ready to move into my new flat....and I found some funny literary creations by the great ME....
I was tidying my trunk and I found couple of ol' diaries....

Feb 14 1998 (I guess i would have been in my VIII std ) The diary entry was dedicated to Aashray , it was his birthday and first one away from home....

The moon and Stars are
bright and far
Just like the distance in
our hearts
The sky seems so peaceful
I feel to pray
I pray to make it through
another day
The brightness in the moon
reminds me of your eyes
The twinkle in the stars
makes me want to wish upon
a star
Maybe together we can wish
upon that star
And that wish will grant
our hearts to shine bright
and far

here's another one.... I reckon there was a bitter fight with momy and I had penned

UNTITLED.....(yes thats the title)

Where am I going to empty my heaps of unshed tears?
When am I going to shatter all my hidden fears?
How long can I keep smiling, when I’m supposed to cry?
And I’m still living, I do not no the reason-why?
All these years, I have never felt needed,
Not even by the souls who have feeded,
This unfortunate ’me’ who has got nothing,
To give something or anything to take.
And with my mere existence, I commit another big mistake.
But God, I don’t have any regrets or promises,
Only a small request, I don’t want to live anymore in your beautiful premises.

Lols....
I realise how bad i was... I am at writing!

Blue blotch!!!

I was so keen to vote ...... to make my debut... and everything was spoilt!!

My name did not match in the voter's roll. What foxes me is that my home-mates's names were also unmatched....

Yes, I dont hold a polling card but I did hold all the other documents to prove that I am Aishwarya D/o. So & so....a DNA test report was something I couldnt produce grrrr.....

I was also annoyed a with the cop's and the other government official's behaviour. None them never ever wanted to help me.... I asked so many people but in vain....(most of them were busy in breaking their fast:))
It was a sheer waste of 3 hours as I moved from one booth to another asking for help.....eventually I was directed to a different school, miles away! There were many like me...completely lost, angry.

I replenished my energy with 2 tender coconut juice and returned home a sad woman
:((
Bawlllllll.... i didnt vote!

Phew, the only solace was, I saw couple of TN police mamas sans flabs LOL!
